Intangi Announces the Release of Version 1.7 of the Ideas™ BPM Platform Expanding Design Features, RuleWriter and Integration with MS Office
Sunnyvale, CA. October 31, 2005 - Intangi, Inc. releases version 1.7 of its industry leading BPM software platform expanding the capabilities of the Ideas SP and Ideas SX applications. This version increases design functionalities with chassis views and application protocols, expands RuleWriter, and enhances integration with MS Office. Currency exchange is now supported for those customers that prepare proposals and quotes in multiple currencies.
Ideas now enables system engineers to design communication networks that include network application protocols like QoS, SS7, SNMP and IPv6. In today's converged data, voice, and video environment, selling network application protocols and services are just as crucial as selling the right hardware and software to meet customer requirements. This capability increases the depth of technical validation and ensures that hardware and software are configured correctly throughout the network.
At the core of the Ideas Modeler engine is the point-and-click RuleWriter interface which eases the process of modeling business and product rules into the BPM platform. Generally, companies employ programmers and custom coding to create and implement these complicated rules. Now, business and design rules can be written, tested and published by users of these rules. Since there is no custom coding needed, customers can save time, effort and money.
With the addition of chassis views, Ideas users can dynamically view hardware changes as they configure, add, or change product options. Chassis views, along with other proposal documents, can be printed, saved into PDF, or exported to MS Word, Excel and Visio.
